It was a great day in Groningen this saturday. Good weather. A day to sport!!

My alarm woke meup at 7.15 this morning. Drank some coffee, toke a shower and went on my bike to the fields of Oranje Nassau. Like every time when my son's team plays at home ground I am the referee. The match started at 9.00. Early. The kids were more awake than I was. Nevertheless, no big fights. Not one player pushed me away or hit me. My son's team played well again and won by 6-0. When you are in the field as a referee you have to correct some children at times. Most time because of verbal 'fights' One of the opponents yelled to Kasper and Wessel: 'Losers!' Kasper yelled back: 'If we are losers, you are superlosers. We are leading by 5-0!' The game went on and by passing Kasper and this boy from the opponent I told them I didn't want to hear words like that again.

Earlier in this match I was not sure if a ball went out or not. So I let the children play on. One of the opponents yelled at me at said the ball was out. Then Kasper got angry and said: 'Don't yell against him! He's my father!' The opponent said to Kasper: 'Yes and that's why you win!' Great!

Nice to hear Kasper defending me and this great reaction of this other boy. By the way, people who know me can tell I always try to be honest.

Anyway my sports day wasn't over after this match. I also watched speed skating on tv. I like to watch spors on tv if I have a favorite individual or team I support.. Like earlier this week the match Ajax-Spartak Moskou. Very nervous during watching this match. And very happy afterwards! Ajax lost! Great!
