Muziek

Another day passed. I put a new poll at my weblog. I am curious!

I need to tell something to my favourite follower. Vriendelijke krankzinnige man. Vriendelijke krankzinnige man is a very goood man. He was wondering about my music at Vkontakte. I will tell some secrets here. It's just for you my followers. I have strange taste concerningmusic. Most people think I only like hard and heavy music. Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong.

My favorite artists are Freddie Mercury and Prince,,,,

Some songs I like and I feel ashamed of liking them....

1. Papa - Stef Bos

2. Country lanes - Bee Gees

3. Go west - Pet shop boys.

4. Outkast >> I'm sorry miss Jackson (briljant nummer)

And so on.

you find and you lose

Every day you of your life youfind things and you lose things.

During 32 days in Moscow I found a lot and I lost a lot.

What did I lose?

* A metro card

* Money

* A phone

* A friend

* Another metro card

What did I find?

* A soul close to mine; really unbelievable

* Some other wonderful people I hope to meet again

* The basics of russian language

* many great experiences

All and all

I found more than I lost. Much more.

back home

Eta dom? Da, eta dom. Paul tam? Da, tam.

One of my very first lessons in russian language.

Laughing

I arrived back home yesterday evening. 23:00. My dear neighbour Joke waited for me. She had the key of my flat. Joke is an amazing woman. She's 83 years old. But young at heart. Open minded. Sweet. Clever. Always interested. My children love her very much. And so do I.

It was an exciting month in Moscow!

I am so happy to see my children again. Tomorrow they will come to my house and stay with me for 5 nights. I will write about it later this week.

I also feel homesick for Moscow. Difficult to explain. So I will not try to.

Like you all know I met such nice people in Moscow. I miss Svetlana so much. I miss my friends from class. Stefano and Dalila. I miss my prepodavatel. Katja. I miss Lena.

Now I'm back in Groningen. Silent Groningen. Slow Groningen. Neatly Groningen. RelaxedGroningen. Boring Groningen.(Excuses to my followers who love Groningen very much.Keep on following me, despite ofmy words)

About things that happened to me in Moscow. Of course I couldn't tell you everything. Time was too short. The next days I will probably remember some things I have to tell you. Now there's one story I want to share with you.

Last week I was in the best internet cafe I have ever been. I was talking with Svetlana. Then I went to a computer to check my email. A man sitting behind me asked me in bad dutch (but in dutch!) if I was from Holland. Yes. Then he told me he lived 9 years in..........Groningen!!! He even knew the street I'm living! 'Aaahh that's in Helpman'! He told me why he lived in Groningen. Where he lived in Groningen. Paddepoel. Etcetera. Very interesting. Very amazing. Then he asked me if I would be so friendly to bring a message to one of his friends in Groningen. Of course. I'm very friendly and helpfull. Most of the times. So he asked Svetlana if he could buy a postcard somewhere near the internet cafe. He went out and came back with a beautiful postcard. He asked me to write the words to his friend. I refused. I told him his friend would like it moreif he wrote the card himself. Even if it would be full of mistakes. It would be more personal.So he did.

I can't translate bad dutch into bad english. So this might only be interesting for my dutch followers. This is what he wrote:

'Ons wereld is klein. Mij wens veel geluik moe. Van Ruslam R.'

Then he wrote the address I had to deliver it on the envelope.

Steentillstraat 3a. Koffishop 'Glori'. Voor Stefan.

So I have to visit a coffeeshop later this week. I promised him. So I have to.

Big worries! ;-)))

I am in the best internet cafe I have ever been. I am following the games in dutch football competion.

Just half an hour to go and the matches will end.

Two worries. One big. And one huge!

Feyenoord will not reach European competion next year.

Much bigger worry! I fear Ajax (020)will become champion next week.

What a waisted season this was.

special thanks to Svetlana, Lena, Katja, Dalila and Stefano

This will be a short note. I thank everybody for following me during my time in Moscow. I met some fantastic people here. Especially thanks to those people, who are following me now as well. I will continue writing when I'm back home. So you should keep on following me. I think I will write my weblog in english from now on.

It was a great pleasure to meet you all. All of you made my time in Moscow extra special.

So thanks to Svetlana, Lena,Katja, Stefano, Dalila.... I will miss you all.

So once again to you: When you are in The Netherlands, remember my house is yours. Moi dom, tvoi dom.

Take good care.

We will meet again.

Zub dajoe.

mijn laatste weekend

Het is vandaag zaterdag. Gisteren heb ik mijn certificaat ontvangen. Ik moest ook een afscheidsrede houden. Voor circa 40 mensen. Ik heb daar meestal geen moeite mee. Nu moest het echter in het russisch. Dat is best moeilijk. Het ging me redelijk af. Zelfs mijn grappen werden begrepen.

Daarna afscheid genomen van Katja en Dalila. Daar heb ik meestal wel moeite mee. Afscheid nemen. Ik heb veel tijd met hen doorgebracht. Ik moet dan wel een keer slikken. Ze zijn allebei ontzettend leuke mensen.We hebben geen 'Goodbye' gezegd. Maar 'See you again'.
